The Self and The Consciousness

Let me take a crude example to define and differentiate The Self and The consciousness.

All living animals are aware of the self but not consciousness, only the human being is aware of his consciousness, the dialogue in GITA is not between Krishna and Arjuna, but between NARA and NA...RAYANA or better between the self and the consciousness....and that is where intelligence is born....or the ability to rationalize...the ability to use the free will to refine ourselves..
